Very nice service, good game dishes, reasonable prices. The venison was tender and had a good, wild-type taste, with fresh Brussels sprouts served as a side dish. Sauce, meat and vegetables could have been more spicy.

An absolute must for lovers of hearty and delicious game dishes! Saddle of venison with fried potatoes and red cabbage with a hearty gravy was ordered and after the first bite you were in heaven. Cooked to the point and the super friendly staff. With pleasure again!

Waited a long time for the FOOD. Vegetarian dish was seasoned, Schsschlick pan cold and the potatoes on the steak pan weren't quite cooked yet? What a shame

Discovered by chance, enjoyed delicious wild boar, small soup greeting from the kitchen, super nice and competent staff. We tried delicious venison goulash as a sample ... came back! Thank you for two nice evenings (don't forget to reserve !!)

Very nice atmosphere. A small building made from the materials of an old Tyrolean forest hut. Very cozy, great food, fair prices and courteous service. We really enjoyed it! We will definitely be back.

We were only on Sunday evening with 2 other guests in the restaurant. Even from the outside, the restaurant looks very rustic and inviting. The interior is very rustic, everything made of rough wood, the decoration just resin and game. The menu is quite clear, but there should be something for every taste, game, steaks, fish, also vegetarian. The staff was very friendly and attentive that evening. We didn't have to wait long for our food. The charcoal pan and the rump steak with foil potato were delicious, the portions were plentiful. In any case, we were very satisfied. We can recommend the poacher. It wasn't outstanding, but it was definitely a good average, I would say. Here it is the ambience that makes the poacher special.

Enjoyed our dinner here. 4 of us had schnitzel and one ordered a "little" (180gr) steak. Food portions were excellent. 2 of us couldn't finish due to the size of the schnitzel. All came with a small side salad and a chosen portion of fries, baked potatoes or potato croquettes. Upfront we received a complementary potato soup. Service was pleasant. Staff was very friendly and helpful though I'm not sure if they speak anything other than the German language. Maybe the staff can shed some light on this? I recommend going here to enjoy a nice meal for a very descent price! Oh, Thursday's schnitzel day so you can enjoy them for 11 euro's.
